Well it's not true in every case; there are some pretty lousy pictures to be found just about everywhere. However...
That's not to say that you shouldn't take the necessary time to do a good job writing your copy, but you do need to pay careful attention to the visual impact of your marketing materials:
- Logo
- Advertising
- Business cards
- Brochures
- Web site
This is particularly true if your product is not a product but a service. Since you have no tangible product to exhibit, prospective clients will naturally tend to judge you by the only thing they CAN see: your marketing materials.
