What does that mean?

Most businesses use different software and technologies to do different things. Sometimes it works, but there is often a lot of wasted time when it comes to organizing and viewing information from two different sources, or compiling reports from multiple sources. I create cloud-based applications that centralize information from different sources, allowing my clients to access and manipulate it more efficiently.

Rather than trying to create a new process, I create systems based on my clients' existing workflow. By simplifying the tasks your employees are already doing, we reduce or eliminate the need for learning a new routine.

I write most programming code myself, giving you maximum control over the processing, display, and interaction with your business information. However, there are several APIs (Application Programming Interfaces) that can be used to increase the impact and utility of your application.

Integrating APIs allows us to focus on your business-specific operations while other providers maintain data and programming for us to utilize.

Google Maps is a common example, but there may be others that suit your specific needs, such as image matching, data mining, social media or bulk storage. Often there are industry-specific data providers who expose their APIs either free or for a charge. An example would be a local MLS (Multiple Listing Service) for real estate companies.

Sometimes (often, in fact) you just know there is an easier way to get something done, but you don't know where to start. Sometimes, that just means creating an application that does the repetitive tasks FOR you.
